Refunds & exchanges
Due to Government restrictions on non essential goods - All items that are ready to go out will only be sent out after lockdown - We are still taking orders and your items will be reserved if it is from clearance stock - Apologies for any inconvenience
This Policy is agreed to, by you at checkout
Please also note We will not be allowing for exchanges on already received items due to high risk of covid-19 until further notice, so please ensure you consider your sizing carefully - No Refunds will be honoured if it is beyond 48 hours or payment and order has already been sent to factory and shipping agents - This over rules all proceeding terms.
We will only be allowing replacements for error items (all items are quality checked, therefore only minor errors can missed)

- NO REFUNDS offered unless for an extraordinary reason that has been determined and agreed to by us (such cases may be items no longer available, however this does not include buyers remorse or damaged items of a wear & tear nature). Buyers remorse we do not refund or exchange for. Factory Damaged items will be replaced as per below, this is up to our discretion (i.e we can request a refund but it may or may not be approved irrespective of time frames)
**NB- Please note, NO refunds will be processed for deliveries if it is in regard delivery time frames (all cost are taken into account & factored into process from date of purchase, therefore with challenges mentioned above it s not feasible to process any refund prior to delivery dates within reason)
No Refunds on Specials, Clearance items. Only Full priced items will be looked at after 90 working days subject to our refund policy
All refunds need to go through an approval of factory, shipping & us. Up to our & their discretion due to fact items fund are not kept an go into he manufacturing, shipping & other costs almost immediate form clearing
-Exchanges or replacement items can be arranged for damaged items if it has been has been determined by us that item arrived damaged (if the item was damaged by you trying it on or within initial use we cannot exchange or refund the item. This is up to our discretion though and we may make judgement call in certain instance within reason.
- Size exchanges are possible provided below is met
- Please keep your receipt or proof of purchase in case of a refund
- If we have agreed to a refund or exchange The following conditions must be met:
1. Its UNWORN, UNUSED and not WASHED (please follow care instructions)
2. It is within 7 days of purchase
3. ALL PRICE TAGS are still attached to the garment, it is returned with original packaging in condition it left with inspection
4. PROOF OF PURCHASE is provided
-Merchant Hunter does NOT provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind or buyers remorse.
- no exchanges or refunds will be honored on any sale or clearance items
- no exchanges or refunds will be honored on bikini's, underwear, bra's, 3D magnetic eyelashes or items that could relate to unsafe health practices
- All items exchanged or refunded will be inspected according to the stores requirements before an exchange/refund is processed up to our discretion
Items returned that are STAINED, TAMPERED with and DAMAGED due to wear and tear WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED or refunded
-Items that have been damaged due to negligence and / or non-adherence to care instructions WILL NOT BE exchanged or refund and are for the buyers own cost
- If you need to exchange an item that’s either too big or too small for a different size, you need to inform us within TWO days of collection/delivery and you need to return the item within SEVEN days (No Refunds).
- If you need to re-order a different item you need to inform us within TWO days and you need to return the original item, in its original state to us within SEVEN days (No Refunds).
- Should the item which you have ordered be out of stock at the supplier, we will give you the option of a refund or you are more than welcome to pick something else within same price or less (please note that this might take a little longer for the item to arrive in store if we do not have stock)
- We reserve the right to charge a handling fee on all returned or exchanged items. This is up to our desrection. Typically 10% of the value of the purchase or the greater of R105
- Should you return an item without first coming to an agreement with us, we will not be held liable for refunds and exchanges nor take responsibility of collection, delivery or return of items to you.
- Merchant Hunter does not take responsibility for tracking your package once courier has collected your item. You will be provided with a tracking number, tracking link and courier company's contact details so that you can do so at your own discretion. If you are exchanging an item, the cost of sending the item back to 30 Arena Close, H Santos building, Ground Floor, Bruma, Johannesburg 2026 will be for your own account. This needs to be done with in SEVEN days of receiving the item. We can aid in the collection and return of items, however this is up to our discretion. This will incur a courier handling determined by us at the time of return using our couriers. If you send an item back it must come to our address and not the nearest pick up center as we will not be held responsible for collection of the item form pick up center's
OUT OF STOCK AVAILABLE STOCK ITEM OR NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR SUPPLIER/FACTORY:
- Should the item which you have purchased be out of stock at the supplier, we will give you the option of a refund or you are more than welcome to pick another item that is within same value or less (please note that this might take a little longer for the item to arrive in store)
